TPS Voltage
#1
Anybody know what the TPS voltage should be for a 1992 F-150 4.9L straight six? Is it the same as a Mark VII? I'm getting a code for low TPS voltage and a check engine light.

The TPS on fords should be .9-1.1 volts at closed throttle. I have seen alot of them fail and read 2.5 volts or so at closed throttle.

Usually when I replace the TPS with and aftermarket one, i usually have to slot the mounting holes in them to get the voltage right. I usually set them at exactly 1 volt.
