Dry before clay?

So after I wash my car, should I dry it before I start to clay?

Yes, unless you want water spots Tongue. Don't forget to use a good detail spray or a soap/water mixture as a lube for the clay.

Well..if you're going to use car wash soap as your lubrication for clay, then no, just keep going after your final rinse and then start claying with some fresh/clean car shampoo & water. that's how I do it. If you will be using a quick detailer with the clay, then yes, you'll of course have to dry the car first.
