Have a 93 f150 302. when i start it, it revs a little then nearly quits before evening out. usually stable after its been running. sugestions?

I agree with W.V. Kelly, clean the Idle Air Control Valve. Its mounted on the side of the throttle body just to the left of the distributor. It has a 2 wire connector with two 5/16" bolts retaining it. Remove it and spray throttle body cleaner in both holes. Using a small screwdriver or pick, work the valve inside of it while keeping it saturated with the cleaner. Reinstall and see it it clears up.

It also wouldnt hurt to clean the throttle body bores and plates as well. Just make sure you find a cleaner that wont hurt the teflon coating inside of it.

If it still stalls after cleaning, replace the valve.
