Mighty Hemi Magnum falls to the little 4.slow
#1
Poor ole boy never knew what hit em.
Three lights and three times I mopped the floor with his Hemi magnum wagon with
my lil ole 4.slow.. How you ask can a stock V6 clean the street with a mighty hemi?
Gearing my friend..
in my case 4x4low..
:fawk:Confusedlap::fawk:
In a light to light race unless he was packing
600hp he never had chance..
hehe...

those hemi magnums/chargers only run like 14.7-14.8 IIRC. Even the SRT's barely dip into the 13s Sad

that's still stupid that they would lose to a 210 hp V6 in a similar weight vehicle.

normally they wouldnt.
but in 4x4 low its like having 8 to 1 rearend gearing and tons of traction.
It goes thru all 5 gears from 0-60 LOL..
I had done this before when I rented Budget Explorers and it always fun as hell.
Smile
Just has to be a real short race.. Wink

shift motor..
Ford has to make everything complicated so instead of a nice
normal shifter for the transfer case they decicded to make an electric motor
to do the shifting connected to the knob on the dash,of course they used
the most complicated POS motor they could find that breaks down and costs over $300
to replace connected to a $500 computer module that does NOTHING except control
that electric shift lever.
All that bullshit insead of a nice simple manual $5 shift lever..
So $800 of bullshit parts to do the job a $5 manual shifter could do..
Kinda like electric brake motor in the MK7..
Fukin Ford..
Then they wonder why they
are going down the tubes..
While some Fukin Ford engineer is home wacking off and laughing at the
bullshit he engineered into these vehicles..

yeah Dodge puts stupid gears in their cars. they BARELY got it right with the SRT8 Challenger 6 speed (3.90 gears) 0 - 60 in 4.7 sec. but the R/T Chargers/Magnums and 300C's got the A5 with a 2.82 rear end. my 3.5 V6 Charger at least has a 3.64 rear end, but with an A4. o well lol

I have yet to figure out the fascination with making electric shift transfer cases. Is it really that hard to shift a transfer case's gears. The average soccer mom will never even use 4wd so what does it matter? I don't even know if you can get a manual transfer case shifter from Dodge anymore. It's absolutely retarded.
